ABout us

Dr. Dan’s Pet Care began with the idea that pets deserve to use high quality skin care products. As a veterinarian in New York, Dr. Dan needed a pet shampoo that he could trust. It had to be gentle enough for a pets sensitive skin, be effective at cleaning, remove odor causing bacteria, and smell great.

We source human grade ingredients, ensuring high standards for our ingredients. We harness the benefits of natural ingredients, such as lanolin’s ability to moisturize and protect skin, spearmint’s anti-inflammatory properties, the cleansing ability of diatomaceous earth, and the antibacterial properties of citrus fruit. Made by a veterinarian, Dr. Dan’s Pet Products smell great, perform exceptionally well, and provide your pets with the standard of care they deserve.

Diatomaceous Earth

Diatomaceous Earth Powder

Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is a naturally occurring powder that consists of fossilized diatoms, a hard shelled algae. This natural ingredient performs well as a fine exfoliator unlike sugar scrubs or other skin scrubs that use coarse exfoliators. Safe on skin, DE is also used in tin powder form to kill pests (dries them out) so it’s used as a natural flea and tick killer.
